EAT (formerly PTTLS)
It is a great starting point for anyone wanting to deliver adult education or training. Both group instructors and PT’s can now train others to do the job they love .
You can become qualified to teach any subject that you are competent and qualified in.
You will also gain an understanding of current legislation and regulatory requirements around adult education including Codes of conduct and practise and the need to promote equality and diversity.
This course will not only give you the confidence to move forward into the role of a tutor but help to develop your own personal and communication skills. You will also have regular contact online and through the telephone with your own qualified tutor to help and guide you through this qualification
Once booked, you will receive your online log in details, these will give you access onto the Active IQ online learning platform.
You can start your study immediately as your course will go live within 1 – 24 hours. You will be assigned a mentor to answer any questions during your study.
You will work in your own time through a series of online modules and complete set activities at the end of each to test your learning. Your mentor will guide you with help and advice
This style of learning is perfect for anyone with busy lives and a full time career. You can complete your course in a matter of weeks or months depending on your schedule.
There are no formal entry requirements for the EAT teaching qualification training course, but candidates must have a qualification or experience in their subject skill at the appropriate level.
Applicants must be 19+
Due the online nature of the course candidates should have the ability to manage the requirements including, reading and interpreting written assignments, ability to write answers in a legible and understandable form. Candidates will normally need to be able to organise written information clearly in order to gain this qualification.
Learners must complete the one mandatory unit (3 credits) and an additional 9 credits from the optional units (6 credits from Group B and 3 credits from Group C) Mandatory Unit (Group A)

This online course costs £350 which is fully inclusive of all learning materials and assessment.
